Founded by Josh Mihan in 2015, The Bearded Man is a Prahran based barbershop created with a simple goal: to be a space where everyone feels welcome, no egos, no intimidation, just great haircuts and good conversation.
Josh has been cutting hair since 2002, travelling the world as a barber and educator, shaping his craft across global barbering cultures. As a three time Men's Hairdresser of the Year finalist, he’s brought the best techniques, service philosophies, and attention to detail back home to Chapel Street, Prahran.
At The Bearded Man, we believe a great cut isn't about trends, it's about what suits you. That’s why every barber in our shop is fully qualified, experienced, and genuinely passionate about the industry. We don’t hire juniors or apprentices. Just barbers who are in it for the right reasons.
